Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-08-09 — version 2026-08-09
These Terms are a binding agreement between you (the "Customer") and you dev (the "Platform", "we") governing your use of واتس ديف. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms, to the Privacy Policy, and to the Acceptable Use Policy.
1. What the service is
واتس ديف is an API and a portal that lets a customer connect one or more WhatsApp numbers, send and receive messages from their own systems, configure automated replies, and receive events over signed Webhooks. The service is provided by you dev.
It is built for businesses and developers. It is not an end-user messaging app.
2. The WhatsApp integration is unofficial — the most important clause here
Read this clause before any other.
The service runs on an unofficial WhatsApp integration (the WAHA/GOWS engine). It is not built on Meta's official WhatsApp Business API. We do not represent Meta or WhatsApp, we are not affiliated with them, and we hold no licence from them.
The consequences below follow from that, and you accept them expressly:
- Meta may restrict, warn, or permanently ban any number connected to the service, at its sole discretion, without prior notice and without giving a reason.
- We cannot prevent it, predict it, appeal it, or reverse it. We have no escalation channel at Meta.
- The consequences of a banned number — including the loss of the conversations tied to it and the interruption of your business on it — rest with the Customer alone. We accept no liability for them and owe no compensation or refund.
- You accept this risk for every number you connect to the service, and you acknowledge that connecting a number is your decision alone.
Practical advice, not a warranty: do not connect a number you cannot afford to lose, and follow the Acceptable Use Policy — unsolicited bulk sending is by far the largest cause of banned numbers.
3. Account, subscription and payment
- Self-registration gives you a trial account with reduced limits and a limited duration.
- Paid plans are activated manually by the platform operator after payment is agreed over WhatsApp. There is no self-serve checkout inside the platform, no automatic renewal, and no automatic charge to any card.
- When a subscription period ends without renewal, sending stops. A short grace period may be granted; it is an operational courtesy, not an acquired right.
- Fees already paid are non-refundable unless a written agreement says otherwise.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details and for the secrecy of your API keys. Any request accepted with your key is treated as issued by you.
4. Quotas and limits
Every plan carries a message quota (daily and/or monthly), a limit on the number of connected numbers, and a per-minute request rate limit.
- Exceeding a quota or a limit rejects the request and returns a clear error; it never creates an additional charge.
- We may pace sending technically even inside your quota, to protect your own number and the stability of the service for other customers.
- Quotas are measured by our records, which are the reference in case of a dispute.
5. Customer responsibilities
- The content is yours and is your responsibility: your message text, your media, and your recipient lists.
- Consent: you confirm that you hold each recipient's consent to receive your messages, and that you honour opt-out requests promptly.
- Compliance with applicable law, with WhatsApp's own terms, and with the Acceptable Use Policy.
- Your WhatsApp number is yours, and its standing with Meta is your responsibility (see clause 2).
6. Suspension and termination
- We may suspend your account or any number on it immediately, without prior notice and without a refund, for a breach of the Acceptable Use Policy, on receipt of abuse complaints, or where there is a direct risk to the service or to other customers.
- You may stop using the service at any time, and may request account closure at support@youdev.online.
- We may terminate the service for other reasons, operational or commercial, on 30 days' notice.
- After termination we stop sending, and your data is handled under the Privacy Policy.
7. Limitation of liability
- The service is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose.
- We do not guarantee uptime, continuity of delivery, or the delivery of any particular message; a material part of the path is outside our control (the WhatsApp network, carriers, and the recipient).
- Our total aggregate liability for any claim, on any basis, is capped at the fees you actually paid in the three months preceding the incident.
- We are in no event liable for lost profits, lost data, or a banned WhatsApp number, or for any indirect or consequential damage.
- Nothing in this clause excludes liability that applicable law does not permit us to exclude.
8. Changes to these Terms
We may amend these Terms or any of our policies. On any material change we announce it in the platform and/or over WhatsApp, and we raise the version shown at the top of this page. Continuing to use the service after the new version's effective date constitutes acceptance of it.
9. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms, and any dispute arising from them, are governed by the law of المملكة العربية السعودية (Saudi Arabia), and its courts have jurisdiction over the dispute.
